Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day! I love it when it is on a Sunday!

We have a very normal Christmas tradition that we have done each Christmas Eve.  I know many have the same tradition too.  It the tradition of opening up  new P.J. on Christmas eve.   This year, might be our last year, at least, for my husband and boys, because frankly they just don't like it.  They aren't that into it.  I think I might just do it for myself and Kara!  So there, sons of mine.

We also have a tradition of having a really nice dinner on Christmas Eve, followed by a Christmas movie and a brand new Christmas story.
After we were done with everything the kidlets all went to Spencer's room to play video games.  Yes, Spencer is a vitamin junkie.

Christmas morning!!!!   Since Christmas was on a Sunday and I don't have little kids we didn't open presents until after everyone was dressed for church.  Before we opened presents we had our traditional Christmas morning breakfast.  I have made the same thing for breakfast on Christmas for at least 15 years.   Because we were going on a trip later in the afternoon Christmas just didn't feel the same.

Colton and his hat.  He just loves wearing Fedora's.

Kara in her new Christmas dress.  On Sunday morning at church she was asked to sing a solo in church and also to give a talk.  She handled it like it was no big deal!
Spencer opening presents.  The children didn't get as much for Christmas  since their Christmas present was our trip to Calfornia.

Coby got a ice scraper with a mit on it too.  I thought it was a clever idea.

Matt trying to guess what he will be getting for Christmas

A new scarf and hat!!!!

A few hours after church we left for California.  We had our time share for one week and the first day was on Christmas.  We were going to leave before Christmas, but then Kara had already said that she would sing and talk so we ended up waiting.  We also thought it would be better for Coby since he just got back from Israel/Jordan early on the 23rd.  Coby also wanted to visit his friend Colleen in Las Vegas that he hadn't seen in 8 months.  She was leaving within a couple of days to go on a study aboard program so it all worked out.
